Mystery Train does Pink Floyd: an impromptu tribute project.

Recorded in 1989 at Congress House Studios in Austin Tx.

Mystery Train was the name we gave to a one-day project undertaken by me on a lark. Ron was in town for the first time in years, and we felt like recording something, so I picked a song that sounded like fun, and away we went.

Participants included:

Chris Vreeland, bass, vocals.
Jeri Arsenault, vocals.
Mark Hallman, guitar.
Ron Tindle, keyboards.
Chris Massey, drums.
Bradley Kopp, guitar solo.

Engineered by James Tuttle.

Sure, it's kinda rough and raw, but it was rehearsed and recorded in an afternoon, and all the tracks are live except the vocals, and Brad's brilliantly overdubbed solo.

This file is distributed freely by me, no charge. I own the copyright to this particular sound recording of this song, originally written by Syd Barret, and recorded by Pink Floyd in the 1960's.*

*If it's ever broadcast anywhere, be sure to list Syd Barrett as the composer for the Broadcast-Royalty (ASCAP/BMI) Porpoises.
